Bay Street is basically...Canadian Wall Street, eh?

Pretty much. Used as shorthand for the financial industry in Canada, Bay Street is in the middle of the downtown Toronto professional district. Of primary import, it houses the Toronto Stock Exchange, which is the largest stock exchange in Canada, where traders haggle over the largest selection of listed securities in the world in between hockey games.
