Penny is a very frugal investor on a budget. She wants to buy stock in Shmoop, but it's not publicly traded, so she settles for Google (Ticker: GOOG). Unfortunately, she can only afford to invest $1,000, but GOOG currently trades around $1,200 per share. Being too busy to watch GOOG stock trade herself, Penny tells her broker to place a "Below the Market" order for GOOG if it drops below $1,000, so that she can stay within her budget.
