Belt And Suspenders

Al's son, Jackson, asks his dad if he can borrow some money to buy a car on his 16th birthday. Al agrees but specifies that Jackson can't spend it on anything else and must take a picture with the newspaper from his birthday, at the car dealership, to prove that is when the purchase was made, even though Al will be with him for the entire transaction. And, to make sure that Jackson isn't indecent in the picture, Al insists that he wear both a belt and suspenders to avoid the risk of his pants falling off.

Yeah. That's Belt and Suspenders.
