Biodiesel

While biodiesel may sound cool (looking at you, Vin Diesel), it’s really just a fuel made from combining alcohol and vegetable oil (or animal fat), which is a more eco-friendly alternative than normal gas, aka petroleum.

Biodiesel can get aircraft soaring, it can get cars humming, and it can, uh...turn up the heat. Before you start pumping biodiesel into your car and shaving your head like Vin, make sure you have a diesel engine. With fewer and fewer dinosaur bones to harvest for gas, alternatives like biodiesel are making their presence known.
