Blank Check Company

Blank check companies don’t (necessarily) have their s*** together. They’re early-stage, developing companies that don’t have a business plan. Yep.

So...what’s the plan of a company that has no business plan, you ask? For many blank check companies, their plan is to be bought out by (or merge with) another (more established) company. Because blank check companies are really sketchy and based off speculation, the SEC has some rules when it comes to how these developing companies pay their investors.
