Break

An extreme, quick, usually unexpected jump up or down in the price of an asset, especially stocks.

While many have accused Anthony of being prone to psychotic breaks, it was the #FlashCrash of 2010 that saw a break in stock prices in the Dow Jones, S&P 500, and NASDAQ, resulting in a temporary “loss” of a trillion dollars in market value that finally persuaded Anthony to quit the Capital Markets business. You know...to save his sanity.
