Brick And Mortar

Buildings. Made of brick and mortar.

They cost money. They can only contain so much inventory to sell to its retail buying constituency.

The term comes from Amazonians (the online buyers, not the Wonder Women), and is a pejorative and diminutive quasi-insult wrapped in an "I feel sorry for you" vibe, such that brick and mortar is supposed to die as a retailing alternative... with Amazon taking over commerce in America and the world. Muahaha.
