The classic example is Whole Food (aka Whole Paycheck). This strategy is considered “Go Big or Go Home,” because there must be significant investment in quality specific to several market preferences.

Delivering on quality and commanding top prices with a large market share will yield maximum wealth. Failure to deliver quality cannot be relieved adequately by lowering prices, since the cost of production was significant.
