Bull Position

Owning a security rather than holding a short position in it. A bull position means that the security owner is betting that the value of that security will increase rather than decrease, as in a bear position.

Harry was a big fan of Laughacadabra, Inc. (Ticker: HA), a chain of night clubs featuring comedic magician performers. Unfortunately, after an early-morning incident in one of the clubs, Harry found himself being charged with public indecency by a judge in night court.
