Bullet Bond

With a bullet bond, the entire principal is paid at the maturity date, rather than having monthly payments over its lifetime.
It's kind of like being the issuer of a zero coupon bond. The issuer of the bond cannot redeem it early. That's just part of the deal for bullet bonds.
They are also riskier for the buyer of the bond, as the issuer has to come up with a large amount of money on a single day, rather than spreading out payments over time.
