Business Income

Business income is, simply enough, income earned by a business.

Interestingly, it can be either positive or negative each year, depending on the expenses for each year (did the business make money, or end up owing?). Exactly how business income is taxed can vary based on how the business is set up: partnership, sole proprietorship, or corporation.
