The Catalog of Domestic Assistance consists of a list of all the federal support that has been handed out within the U.S.
Basically, when the U.S. government gives out cash through an assistance program to an entity in the country, it gets listed here. The catalog includes things like loans, grants, scholarships and other similar assistance programs. It only counts domestic programs, not handouts related to foreign aid.
