Back in 2002, the Investment Management Consultants' Association discontinued this certification and merged its curriculum in with its Certified Investment Manager Analyst (CIMA) program. Investments & Wealth Institute now runs the program and works with The Wharton School and Yale University to offer classroom instruction.
This program was designed to lead to training for the also-defunct Certified Investment Management Consultant designation.
