Chartered Financial Consultant - ChFC

You want a job on Wall Street, but you want a title ambiguous enough that you don’t ever have to explain to people what exactly you do. You also don’t want to have to pass an exam.
Have you considered the high-flying world of being a Chartered Financial Consultant?
If you’ve got the time and interest, consider the gig. You’re going to need to take an educational program. There are seven required courses and two electives. Once you’re done, there's an average starting salary of around $80k.
This credential is very similar to what is required to become a Certified Financial Planner, minus the exams. It’s the perfect gig to make it sound like you worked on Wall Street…in the 1920s.
