Actually, it's a way of acquiring Bitcoin, or other cryptocurrencies. It uses a cloud technology to use computer processing from multiple locations. Like how you can put a spreadsheet on the cloud, and multiple people from different parts of your company can work on it remotely at once. Instead of figuring out next quarter's budget, the cloud mining process mines for Bitcoin.
