Collection Agencies

Companies that help groups and businesses collect debts and money that hasn't been paid up. If you don't pay your credit card bill or your car loan for a few months, you can expect a call from one of these guys. Collection agencies have to follow strict rules about how they can talk to you and when they can call you. In most cases, they're trying to put pressure on you to get you to pay up. If you don't, these companies may eventually start a process that lets them repossess your car, home, or other stuff in order to pay off what you owe.
