Commercial Visa

A visa is a document that lets a traveler enter a country. A number of different types of visas exist: student, travel, etc. Another type is a commercial visa.

The commercial visa gives the holder permission to enter into a country for business purposes. This type is distinct from a work visa, which allows a person to work in a country for a long (or even an indefinite) period of time. The commercial visa generally applies to a short stay in a country...like a trip to inspect a nuclear weapons facility, or to take a meeting with suppliers of yellow cake (not the type of cake you'd want to eat).
