Consumer Advisory Council - CAC

The government loves taking care of the little guy. And by taking care of the little guy, we mean creating councils and committees that take lobbying money and fail the consumer miserably.

Take, for example, the Consumer Advisory Country, which was founded in 1976. This group has 30 members who study consumer and creditor interest matters. They, in turn, advise the Federal Reserve on economic issues. The CAC has 30 members who keep their eyes on consumer and creditor issues.
