CRM2

Categories: International, Trading

Just like the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the U.S. that tries to regulate Wall Street, in Canada there is the Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA).

In 2014, the CSA implemented a set of requirements called Client Relationship Model Phase 2 (CRM2), stating that anyone selling securities or acting as a portfolio manager must make sure investors receive all information about the performance of their investment, as well as any fees and other costs.

Perhaps this good example will be followed south of the Canadian border someday in our lifetime.
