Curb Trading

Curb trading refers to exchanges that don’t happen on official securities exchanges during market trading hours.
So, if you’re a Jordan Belfort type (the guy Wolf of Wall Street was based on) and just can’t wait for the market to open for business, curb trading may be for you.
These trades are risky though, because they aren’t regulated by official exchange rules. They also may appear to be pretty sketchy, as they can be conducted in just about any manner, even using the oh-so-dated landline telephone, or as a physical exchange somewhere in a dark alley.
