Davos World Economic Forum

No, we are not referring to the villainous martial arts classmate of Danny Rand in the Marvel comic and Netflix series, Iron Fist. Though we'd like to. It's way more interesting.

The Davos World Economic Forum is an annual conference attended by G-7 representatives, as well as corporate bigwigs, investors, politicians, and financial journalists, where major global issues and trends affecting commerce, trade, banking, and economics are discussed. The conference is held in Davos, Switzerland. (Not Davos, Iowa, where The Corn Queen is crowned.)

This shindig has become a major event since its inception in the mid 1970s. And no, you cannot scalp tickets for Davos on StubHub. These wealthy people do have their limits.
