Declaration of Conformity (DoC)

You know, like trimming your beard the same way as your friends or choosing a tattoo from the book of generic choices at the tattoo parlor.

In the financial sense, though, a declaration of conformity has a more specific definition. It has to do with maintaining manufacturing consistency. It's a document that a company issues verifying that a product has been made using all the proper specifications.

The Declaration of Conformity is required in the European Union for companies outside the EU that want to sell stuff in the region.
