Deliverables

Apart from the FedEx, UPS, Amazon Prime, and U.S. Postal Service definition of "deliverables," it's a common term in project management for whatever product or service shareholders in the project are expected to realize at the end of the process. It could be a new product, methodology, event, software, or whatever is specified in the contract. Deliverables may also be designated at different stages over the development course by meeting preset milestones, which may also be tied to triggering subsequent budgetary funds for the next phase.

Think of the term as a giant "To-Do" list with dates and teeth.
