Delivered At Place (DAP)

Pretty much the opposite of shipping and handling. It's a term used in trade to indicate that the seller will pay all of the costs of moving products to a specific location. The seller will also assume all liabilities incurred until the goods reach their destination.
For example, if Ben's record company agrees to sell Lulu some cassette tapes "Delivered at Place, Port of Baltimore," he's going to foot the bill of sending the tapes and be financially responsible if they get lost or stolen on their way to the port terminal. Once they've arrived, Lulu becomes 100% responsible.
And if you're not sure, you can look up "record company" and "casette tapes" in a dusty book at your local library.
