Diamond Top

Not similar to a muffin top.
Diamond top formations are actually chart patterns technical analysts use to predict reversals after an uptrend in a stock or other security. In its entirety, the formation looks kind of like a diamond-–a rise to a new high that flattens only to hit an even higher high, followed by a sharp decline, a third flattening rally, and then the big drop.
Unless you're really into charting, don't worry too much about diamond top formations-–they're actually about as rare as their carbon counterparts.
