Directional Trading

Which way is the market going? Up? Down?

Do directional raders care about fundamentals? No.

China? No. Not really, at least.

Just the direction for a few hours as to where "The Market" (which one?) is going.

Most commonly associated with options trading, because investors get so much more bang for the directional bets with leverage. Directional trading involves an investor's assessment of the direction of a specific investment or the market as a whole.

It's all about going with the flow. And praying that the day trading gods...love you.
