Dissenters' Rights

You're a minority shareholder. You disagree, or dissent, with the board of directors action to start marketing the company's new "Very Little Alcohol" soft drinks to high schools.

You don't consent to it; you dissent against it. If you have dissenters' rights, you simply have the right to publish your disagreement. It's like a green light to whine.
