EDGAR Public Dissemination Service (PDS) System

It’s a private service which let us (the public) view or download any valid EDGAR filings submitted to the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission).

For example, publicly traded companies will file their annual reports on forms 10-K and 10-Q, and will use form 8-K to announce important events which would be relevant to the shareholders. These forms will all be available on EDGAR. Additionally, with the institution of Regulation FD, which requires public disclosure be made of material information that is disclosed to certain entities, EDGAR became even more relevant.
