Egan-Jones Rating Company - EJR

The Egan-Jones Rating Company is funded by investors and rates corporate debt.

Since it's funded by investors, the Egan-Jones Rating Company should be legit. We'd be more skeptical if a rating company was in bed with the same companies that were trying to sell their debt.

The Egan-Jones Rating Company's shining moment was in seeing the fallout of Enron and WorldCom before they happened, proving its worthiness in the credit rating space.
