Financial Infidelity

The act of lying to our spouse about important money stuff, and not for cute reasons...like we want to surprise them with a snazzy new bathrobe or a trip to Hawaii.

This devious duplicity can involve things like opening a secret bank account, holding a bunch of credit cards the better half doesn’t know about, taking out loans and not mentioning it, grossly understating how much we really lost in Vegas last weekend…the list goes on. Basically, if we’re lying to our spouse about our economic situation, we’re committing financial infidelity.
