Frequency Distribution

A frequency distribution is just a display (either in tabular or graphical form) of how often certain results occurred in some kind of experiment or observed behaviors.
If we sit outside the Shmoop cafeteria and jot down how much money each employee drops on lunch, and then either make a table showing the results or plot the results on a graph, we’ve got a simple frequency distribution. These can also be continuous curves, like the normal distribution.
