Government Entitlements

Popcorn at the movies...socks without holes...there are things we all feel entitled to at certain points in our lives.

Government entitlements are government programs designed to help people get some stuff they’re...entitled to. Government entitlement programs include the ever-popular Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security, as well as others, like social programs helping people when they’re in-between jobs or have a disability, as well as low-income families.

Only some people are entitled to government entitlements though. Because these programs are giving out money to help people out, only those who qualify are entitled to entitlements. You’re in your mid-20s? You’re not entitled to Medicare. In-between jobs? Maybe you’re eligible for unemployment insurance. The older you get, the more entitled you’ll become for more government entitlements. So...patience, grasshopper.
