Group-Home Care

Categories: Insurance

It's sorta the tweener place from an old age home that's reclaimed from a now-defunct college dormitory where hundreds of geezers go to play Canasta and Mahjong...and an old person just living alone at home.

In this case, a big home is converted with railings and rubber-padded stairwells. Attendants live there...somewhere. And the once spooky 8,000-square-foot home is now a group-home care place for a dozen people who get to experience the last part of their lives living better than alone.

And yes, it doesn't have to be old people here. Drug addicts, drunks (presumably ex), felons and others who diverged from the center lines of life live in these things as well, at least for a while.
