Headline Risk

Big risk. This is the Crucible world we live in today. Someone (maybe even trying to be funny) tweets a headline "Bob fosters 8-year-olds having sex in his back yard." Bob is immediately child porn slime, and all kinds of bad things happen immediately.

It's only after you click on the Tweet link and realize that Bob is a Zebra-breeder, and that they breed best at around 8 years old, that you realize he's like...just a normal guy.

But it doesn't matter. He's already been cast as a child predator, and will forever have glances cast at him askew for a crime he oh so did not commit. That's headline risk. No matter what you do, when you're under the bright light of insepction that comes from being in the headlines, you're no longer the hammer...you're the nail.
