Impound

Isn't that what BamBam did every time he was handed...pretty much anything?

Ok, well...the same idea sorta applies here.

Didn't pay those 8 parking tickets? Well, when the chalk-happy cop came by to ticket you, and your license plate entry on his little phone device popped up, your car was ripe for impounding. That is, impounding happens when the basic elements of the law and good legal warnings and practices haven't already encouraged you enough to pay what you owe. So you need further, um, encouragement. Your car is removed to an impound lot (prison for naughty cars). And it'll stay there until you bail it out by paying your bills. And the towing service that brought it there.
