Integrated Circuit Card

Well, it used to feel alienated, alone, sitting by itself at lunch, as all the other circuit cards played on swingsets and teeter-totters. But then, one day, her mother baked cookies, handed them out, and everyone but the one kid with peanut allergies then loved the circuit card, who then became integrated on the school yard.

And yes, the real techy thing works kind of the same way. It's just a circuit, a traffic cop managing the flow of electrons inside of a computing device. As a card, it's a kind of standard-form element that gets placed in things like phones and desktop computers and processing units of complex espresso makers. It's processors are integrated with the other logic sets inside of the computing device. And it plays nice with all the other cards.
