International Commodities Clearing House - ICCH

The International Commodities Clearing House (ICCH) no longer exists, but in its heyday, the ICCH was an independent clearing house on many major exchanges. Since it was independent, the ICCH even facilitated some international OTC trades.
International Commodities Clearing House got replaced with the British London Clearing House (LCH), which now fulfills the duty of guaranteeing the settlement of contracts for major investment banks and investors. The ICCH was bought by a group of British banks in 1980, and was eventually gutted and renamed in the early 1990s.
Since then, the LCH merged with the London Stock Exchange Group. Our little International Commodities Clearing House grew up so fast. Sniffle.
