League Table

You run a fantasy football pool for all your friends. Every time you host a draft, your furniture gets trashed. People get mad that they didn't get the player they wanted, or accuse each other of underhanded tactics. Chairs get tossed. Hands get pounded on tables. You need something sturdy for next year. A tailor-made item to withstand the pique of emotion. You need a league table.

But, uh, we're not here to talk about that. We're talking about a way to track certain information about companies.

League tables are commonly compiled to chart activity at investment banks. The tables keep track of deals done by each of the major players, and ranks them accordingly. Think of it like the "league leaders" column on a sports site, only for Wall Street banks.
