Macroeconomic Factor

Macroeconomic factors are anything...and we mean anything...that affect an economy on a wide scale (think: a region, a state, a country, or the whole damn world).
The gods of hyperinflation are super-P.O.'d, creating a hyperinflation storm which leads to increasing unemployment? Macroeconomic factor. The GDP gods are having a good human-day? Macroeconomic factor.
Okay...while we might not know about “gods,” GDP, unemployment, and inflation are all regular macroeconomic factors.
Less common macroeconomic factors include political events like Brexit, and even nature’s events, like hurricanes. While some macroeconomic factors have direct effects, like natural disasters, others have more indirect effects...effects on people’s expectations, like Brexit. And even tweets...if they affect the economy.
