Maintenance Expenses

Categories: Accounting

You spent every dime you had to buy Betsy the Jeep. She cost you three grand down, and you took out a loan at 17% interest for the rest, giving you a monthly payment of $475.

Ouch. You didn't plan on there being maintenance costs for her. Cleaning. New windshield wipers after that locust storm. The left front tire pop thing. Oil changes. All small things on their own, maybe. But they add up to...big numbers. And sadly, it was the maintenance expenses that made you take Betsy back to her previous owners. You could swing everything but the maintenance expenses.

You convince yourself that she's in a happier place now, and you note that the letters U, B, E, and R are all components of the word, "blubber."
