Market Price

You go to Safeway. The half-gallon of Silk almond milk costs $3.95. That's its market price. You shop on Schwab for a stock. KO is listed for sale at $52.17. That's its market price. Go to Zillow. The prices they give you for homes are not their market price...they're an ask, or a bid. Those prices are likely related to the eventual market price, but they're not...it.

In fact, a market price is just whatever someone is willing to pay for a given product. Simple. Ish.
