Where good careers go to die.

Market strategists likely used to be investors. But ones who...weren't good at their jobs. (If they were good, they'd continue being investors, because no legal career on the planet pays as much money for as little work.)

So those who can't do, "teach"...and a market strategist, notionally at least, divines what the stock market is most likely to do over the next 6 months.

It's a lot like someone guessing at coin flips. They will almost certainly be right...half the time.
