See: Net Exporter.

Net exports are just the net number after subtracting imports. The U.S. exports, say, 5 trillion dollars' worth of stuff, and we import 4.8 trillion dollars' worth of stuff. So we are a net exporter to the tune of about $200 billion.

Is that good or bad? Yeah, we don't really know either.
