Non-Discrimination Rule

Categories: Regulations

You can’t discriminate. But what does that mean? Discriminate against…what? Against whom? Idiots? Well, if that was the case, half our politicians would never have been allowed to run for office, right? Can corporations discriminate against idiots? Yes. They can choose to not hire idiots.

Can you discriminate against women? Against religions? Races? Creeds? Sexual preferences? No no no no no no.

An environment of non-discrimination usually implies that everyone has an equal opportunity to be successful. But it’s just an opportunity. It’s not that the success is equal or guaranteed. The rule is that everyone has to have an equal opportunity to be successful.

But umm....what does that really mean? Anyone know? We won't pretend we do.
