Off-Premise Banking

We’re all set for our annual summer road trip with our bestie. All we have to do before we hit the highway is withdraw some cash, deposit a couple checks, and transfer a few hundred bucks from our savings account to our checking account to cover some bills.

Luckily, thanks to off-premise banking, we can do all of that stuff at the gas station while we’re filling up the tank.

“Off-premise banking” basically refers to banking stuff we can do at a location other than a bank branch. In other words, we can do it at the ATM at the Chevron down the street. These off-premise machines can be expensive for banks to install, but once they’re set up, the added convenience and time-savings for customers more than makes up for the upfront cost.
