You don't just get internet connectivity on a cable modem for 70 bucks a month. You get your normal broadcast channels. Then the free-ish channels (including CSPAN; can't live without CSPAN). Then you get HBO for like 18 channels. And a dozen ESPNs. And then you get 25 Pay-Per-Views. And a bunch of other crap.
But adding on each element is only like 10 extra bucks. So by the time you're done with this package "deal," you're paying $140 a month for...lots of stuff you won't watch.
That's a package deal. One so good, you can't help but upgrade.
