Pink Slip Party

See: Reduction in Force.

The whole division got fired! Woot! (In a dark way.)

"Pink slip": the form on which the human resources robot wrote the terms of your firing. You have to sign a release, holding the company harmless for any wrongdoing, agreeing that you have nothing to sue over. And then you get 10 weeks' severance and full vest of this year's 401(k) matching contributions.

Then you're done. Then you're on Glassdoor and/or Indeed. And you drink. And hope for a good economy to get you leap-frogged to the next gig.
