Product Recall

Categories: Company Management

You get these all the time, it seems, for your car. The air bags were supposed to, um, work...but they didn't. So the car is recalled to a local dealer to then make 18 adjustments in 90 minutes and hand you back the keys.

Product recalls are horribly expensive for the manufacturers. We have strong government oversight on products, such that they meet a minimum quality standard...or else. And the "else" is that the products get called home to the mother ship for repairs until they are acceptable to be, well, used.
