Risk Management

See: Risk.

Ever look at a warning label and think “who in the world would actually do that?” Risk managers are people who think of those warning labels and put them there. In the vast world of finance this is where really smart financial people think of things that could possibly go wrong with investing, lending, business start-ups, business expansions etc. Then they think of ways to stop these really bad things before they can happen, and tell other really smart people what to do to prevent the bad things from happening. There are many things that can endanger many financial projects. Risk management study and analyze these hazardous events and put together a plan to put a stop or limit those events. No one wants to lose money, risk managers do what they can to make sure that doesn’t happen.
