Risk Of Ruin

Well, why did you bet the ranch in the first place? Like...an actual ranch. With the deed handy. And the poker game. It's real. If you lose, you lose everything. Wife and kids evicted along with you. Lots of tears. You'll be ruined. Your life as a landlord is...done.

So why did you take all that risk? Why did you even come to play poker in the first place? When you risk ruin, you have to consider what ruin looks like. And if you're so unhappy in your current gig that you'd even come close to risking ruin, shouldn't you hit control-alt-delete on your current lifestyle before you're...ruined? Way easier to reboot things when you still have a few bucks in the bank.
